Ready in 5 minutes

Yields: about 3 oz.

About this recipe:

  • Can be kept in a sealed jar at room temperature

Here’s what you’ll need…

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP sweet almond oil
  • 2 TBSP jojoba oil
  • 2 tsp vegetable glycerin
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 2 TBSP witch hazel

Note: this version of the all-purpose makeup remover is unscented for sensitivity purposes, but you can add a drop of your favorite essential oil to it if you want (Use caution to not use close to your eyes if so).

Instructions

To Make:

  1. In a small food processor, or using an immersion blender, blend almond oil, jojoba and glycerin. Add the remaining ingredients and blend for a full minute to emulsify. Pour into a 3-4 ounce glass bottle with a lid or pump to store.

To Use:

  1. Shake well before each use.
  1. Apply all-purpose makeup remover anywhere on your dry face to remove makeup. Remove with a washcloth and warm water. This remover works best when applied to dry skin, directly to makeup and is safe and gentle enough to use on your waterline.

If you find that the skin around your eyes needs a little more attention, you should treat it to a few applications of AnnnieMak’s Renew Eye Cream. Specially formulated to care for skin in your most sensitive areas, it features clean and organic ingredients that help reduce puffiness, redness, dryness, and dark circles under the eyes. And it’s tested clean and free from the toxic chemicals frequently found in beauty products such as preservatives, parabens, phthalates, or sulfates. You wouldn’t want any of those near your eyes, would you?

After using this all-purpose makeup remover, you might want to try a gentle facial toner. We suggest making some of our Clean Clarifying Facial Toner. Like this makeup remover, it features witch hazel as a key ingredient – to help neutralize skin’s pH, reduce pore size, and help with the inflammation and irritation your skin faces every day.
