Starbucks DIY Gingerbread Latte
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 ½ cup erythritol or sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh espresso
- 8 ounces almond milk or milk of choice, steamed
- 1 scoop AnnieMak Clean Multi Collagens
- Optional: Whipped cream and ground nutmeg
Directions
- Make syrup by combining water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla in a medium saucepan.
- Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat and simmer syrup for 15 minutes. Remove syrup from heat and put a lid on it.
- If making with an espresso machine, make a double shot of espresso and steam your milk. Make your latte by first adding 1/2 cup espresso to a 16-ounce cup. Add 1/4 cup gingerbread syrup, followed by steamed milk. Add 1 scoop of AnnieMak Clean Mutli Collagens. Stir.
- If making by warming milk, heat milk in a saucepan and foam. Make your latte by first adding 1/2 cup espresso to a 16-ounce cup. Add 1/4 cup gingerbread syrup, followed by steamed milk. Add 1 scoop of AnnieMak Clean Mutli Collagens. Stir.
- Reserve the remaining gingerbread syrup in the refrigerator for the next day!
- Optional: Add whipped cream and ground nutmeg to the top of your latte.
