Grab your natural DIY bug spray now! The end-of-summer, fall camping months are upon us! I don’t know about you, but I love to play outdoors in the cooler evenings of fall and those pesky bugs are still here to play! Avoid those toxic bug sprays and opt for a cheaper, healthier and better smelling option!
Natural DIY Bug Spray
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup distilled water
- 2 tablespoons witch hazel
- 25 drops citronella essential oil
- 20 drops peppermint essential oil
- 10 drops tea tree essential oil
Directions
- Fill a 4-ounce clean spray bottle with water.
- Add the witch hazel and essential oils to the bottle. Shake well.
- Spray onto exposed skin and/or clothing, avoiding eyes and mouth.
Reapply every 2 hours, or as needed.
- Store in a dark bottle, away from heat or sunlight.
