Ready in 5 minutes

Yields: enough for 2-3 baths

About this recipe:

  • Vegan
  • Stays fresh in a sealed container at room temperature

Here’s what you’ll need…

Ingredients

  • 1 c. organic rolled oats
  • ¼ c. Epsom salt
  • 1 TBSP baking soda

Instructions

To Make:

  1. Using the small bowl attachment of a food processor, blend oats for a full two minutes, stopping every 30 seconds to un-clump/scrape the sides with a clean spatula. Oats should turn into a powder-like substance. Add Epsom salt and baking soda, then blend for another full minute. Store in an airtight container.

To Use:

  1. Draw a warm bath and dissolve the oat mixture into it. Soak for 15-20 mins.

Note: If your processor is unable to blend/pulverize the oats into a fine powder, you may end up with a bit of grainy residue. This is perfectly fine, but you may want to strain it out of the tub rather than have it go down the drain. Or use a sachet to distribute the skin soothing oatmeal bath soak.
