Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ½ TBSP olive oil
  • 3-4 drops of rosemary essential oil

Ingredient Fact: Loaded with vitamins A, D, K and E, olive oil has been used to help soften and moisturize hair for thousands of years.29 It's also a natural skin moisturizer,30 which is why it's one of the powerhouse ingredients included in AnnieMak's Renew Eye Cream.

Directions

To Make:

Using a food processor or immersion blender, whip all ingredients into a mousselike texture.

To Use:

Dampen hair before applying and distribute whipped mask throughout hair, focusing on the ends.

Secure hair and cover with a shower cap. Sit in the sunshine for 10-15 minutes to activate the mask (or use a blow-dryer for 10 minutes over the cap). Allow mask to sit for a minimum of 40 minutes, but up to 2 hours.

Rinse out with shampoo and warm water.

Best when used immediately but may be stored in refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Note: Color will most likely change as avocado oxidizes in the hair. This is perfectly normal! It may also harden a bit but will soften as soon as you rinse it a bit with water. Safe for color-treated hair.
